Teen Eagles is the student education arm of Eagle Forum
Eagle Forum was founded by Phyllis Schlafly and a dedicated group of volunteers. Phyllis Schlafly was a dynamic and charismatic leader who inspired countless women and men to speak up and speak out. For nearly fifty years, Eagle Forum’s network of state organizations has led the charge to mobilize the grassroots to defend the founding principles of the United States.
Eagle Forum successfully led the ten-year battle to defeat the misnamed Equal Rights Amendment with its hidden agenda of same-sex marriages and tax-funded abortions. Eagle Forum was a primary factor in passing the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment, which protects children against psychological testing and screening without parental consent. Eagle Forum of Alabama was instrumental in writing and passing the strongest abortion law in America last year and are actively seeking passage of this year’s primary legislation..the Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act (VCAP).
Mike and Sharon Cordner founded the Teen Eagle program in 1996 to give high school Alfor their Biblically-centered and politically-conservative values. Today, Teen Eagles strives to develop the next generation of leaders, communicators, and movers-and-shakers in society.

We believe that every Christian citizen has a calling to engage society as informed by heis or her faith, and that politics represents one of the best anenues for Christians to put their beliefs into practic. We aim to inform youth on key political issues, and to equip them with the skills they need to make a difference in the world.
Teen Eagles Chapters exist in several states and operate autonomously. These chapters vary from book studies and current events discussion groups, to politically-active organizations with student officers, regular meetings, guest speakers, the overarching mission of the Teen Eagles is to equip the youth of today, with truth for tomorrow.
Alabama Teen Eagle has several chapters at present: Pelham and Montgomery have active groups with new chapters being founded in the Mobile and Huntsville area.
Alabama Teen Eagles are led by State Director Lori Herring. She has been married to Richard for 31 years. A retired RN, she homeschooled their 4 sons for 28 years. She helped found 2 homeschool co-ops and loved to teach history, politics, economics, current events and government. Teen Eagle Alabama aspires to have an active organization in every area of the state. We will have monthly meeting with weekly or biweekly online meetings, occasionally with nationally recognized speakers. They will participate in lobbying at the Alabama State House, have an opportunity to page for a state legislator, shadow a Senator or Representative for a day and will have an opportunity to attend the National Eagle Forum Council each year. We are looking for adults who enjoy working with young minds and encouraging youth to lead a group in their area, supported by the state Director. Contact Lori Herring at 334-301-4253 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Find us on FB AlabamaTeenEagles.
